Thank you for listening to this message from Damon Thompson Ministries. One of the real commitments that I have in my life I I guess if you traveled what the Lord's done in our ministry

in almost 24 years that we've been doing this,

one of the consistent marks has been revival. From way back in the very beginning

the Lord would touch us with the move of the spirit and he was just really adamant

about making that a mark of who we are. I begin to I begin to

misunderstand some things early on which I think was a natural part of my

progression but I misunderstood some things early on and one of the things I misunderstood is that

God wasn't releasing revival for the impact that would have on the local church.

Let that one sink in.

He was releasing revival into the local church

for the impact the local church was designed to have on the

earth.

So that shift has to take place or we see all of what the Lord's doing as a means to further

our vision instead of as a means to further our vision instead of as a means to further our purpose.

And oftentimes there's a real misunderstanding behind why the Lord's doing what he's doing.

And if you think you know what God's doing

and don't know why God's doing what he's doing,

oftentimes you will misappropriate what you've been handed by way of grace.

So part of my responsibility and my goal is to get people to understand that if the Lord releases his glory it's because he's

fulfilling his own word that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord would cover the

earth as the waters cover the sea. Anytime the glory of the Lord would cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Anytime the

glory of God begins to be released, it's an announcement that God is beginning
