Thank you for listening to this message from Damon Thompson Ministries. I feel like the Lord's been pointing a couple of things out to me.

One is many would say yes to the renewal of the wine skin as long as it wasn't preceded by an

emptying process. When you fight to hold on to the measure of wine that you have,

oftentimes you fail to enter into the emptying phase

that's actually essential for you to get exposed to renewal.

So we manage inferior amounts of wine.

I talked to you last night a little bit about an illegal interpretation I had of sustaining

revival.

I saw it as not losing it.

I think we do the same thing with the measure of wine that we have. God's already touched me, I've already experienced it. I think we do the same thing with the measure of wine that we have.

God's already touched me, I've already experienced revival, I've already experienced the

glory of God, and so what I need to do is make sure that I don't lose that.

And what happens is he'll actually ask you to empty yourself of good things

you've encountered that are keeping you from the ultimate thing you are designed for.

If you sit with authors, and I've had the opportunity to do this and I've written some myself,

but if you sit with authors you'll find

that many of them would like to do away with a number of the books they wrote in

previous seasons of their life. I encourage them not to do that because I said what you said was not wrong it was just incomplete

So I can go back and look at what I preached 15 years ago. It was true

It was just an immature state of what I'm now coming into a fuller understanding of and hopefully

that evolution follows me 10 years down the road and 10 years down the road.
