Many of you know that for a while,

and I've been talking to the Lord about his care.

Remember, cast your cares on me because I care for you.

What we do not cast because we are not sufficiently convinced he cares.

And we learned a lot about the power of God,

but we learned little about the care of God,

at least if you grew up like I did.

We learned a lot about the judgment of God.

We learned little about the kindness of God.

And so what I'm wanting to do is I'm wanting to show a more full or clear picture of the actual attributes of God instead of the ones that were highlighted by people who were not sufficiently conquered in the place of encounter.

So what Dutch was talking to us when he was sharing that this morning about having not just an intellectual knowledge but an experiential knowledge and then listen

an ongoing experiential knowledge that you know and you're getting to know.

One of the most beautiful pictures of that is the couple that has been married for

50 years that are not used to each other.

They're discovering one another even after all of those years.

They're doing, if that's still happening, it's happening by way of honor.

If that discovery is still taking place, it's happening because there's an honor that's been established that gives access to places of the heart

that were inaccessible in an inferior dimension of honor.

Now shifting that, we take that into our relationship with God who's past finding out which doesn't mean you can't

understand him it means to understand him you'll have to move beyond understanding

He's past finding out there is no end to the discovery.
