Romans chapter 3, I'm going to begin reading in verse 21. Read about seven or eight verses here.

Okay. Romans 21, but now independently of the law, the righteousness of God is tangible.

like through Jesus, the Anointed One.

This is the righteousness that the scriptures prophesied would come.

It is God's righteousness made visible through the faithfulness of

Jesus Christ. It's God's righteousness made visible through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.

I want to really get that in your spirit this morning. And then I want to mess with you mess with you with a Dr. Simmons footnote here,

which would be that the righteousness was made visible through faith in Jesus Christ.

So there is, as I studied this, there is some debate among scholars as to whether that

verse should have been translated. it is God's righteousness made visible

through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ, or should it have been translated? It's God's

righteousness made visible through faith in Jesus Christ. I think it's a moot point because I think

they're both true. That faith in Jesus Christ is of no value had it not been for the faith of Jesus Christ.

So I believe that righteousness is made visible both through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ

and our faith in the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.

You got that?

And now all who believe in him receive that gift.

What gift? Righteousness. For there is really no difference between us. For we have all

sinned and are in need of the glory of God.

How many of you would think the cure for sin is the glory of God?
