Thank you for listening to this message from Damon Thompson Ministries. I feel the fear of the Lord this morning on where the Lord has us and I want to just speak as a father this morning and share with you some pieces that I think

the Lord's going to use to reinvigorate our longing.

And I think if the focal point of listening and hearing becomes lingering

You'll always fail to linger

But if the focal point of listening, hearing proximity,

nearness to the father is longing,

you'll never struggle with lingering,

that you cannot ever replace the value of the heart that longs.

And if you don't sufficiently long, you're never going to lean into this invitation to linger.

So one of the things that you've got to do is you've got to receive the grace too long differently than the culture that you live in.

I would ask the question this morning, how many Christians specifically in America?

I mean, I mean, born again on their way to heaven, Christians in America, have a consistent space where they sit in the presence of the Lord.

And I think we would be really disappointed by the percentage.

I think we'd also be disappointed by the people, the percentage of people in this room

that have a consistent time where we sit and host and wait and minister to the Lord.

And the theme that we prophetically ran into

that we did not have any intention of running into

was what you do with what you hear. not have

running into was what you do with what you hear this year

will determine what you see next year.
