Summary

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome decisions from the newly right-leaning North Carolina Supreme Court restoring Voter ID requirements in the state and restoring the congressional map that the former left-leaning court tossed out for political reasons. They also fume as an illegal immigrant kills five people and wounds others in Texas, especially after learning the killer was deported five times from 2009-2016. And they question why ABC News decided to profile Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who is best known for his controversial views on vaccines, only to censor his opinions on vaccines.

0:26.2

Some of this broke last week but I think it's good to kind of consolidate a couple of important

decisions we've seen from the new makeup of the North Carolina Supreme Court which now

0:35.5

0:42.2

Had been 4 to 3 and that 4 to 3 left leaning court had made some decisions which seemed

pretty partisan in nature.

0:49.2

So I see these as more writing the record here than as opposed to being partisan in the

other direction.

Other people's opinions may vary but two critically important decisions here.

1.

1:02.4

Voter ID is coming back to the Tar Heel state.

1:06.2

The left leaning court had of course argued that it disproportionately disadvantaged African

1:11.4

Americans.

1:12.4

We know from survey after survey that African Americans overwhelmingly want voter ID so

1:17.9

it's just a left leaning talking point that doesn't have any basis in reality.

1:23.2

And then the other situation that I think could be more consequential for 2024 and beyond
