Carol Cain's one of those actresses that's pretty much terrific in everything.

Could be a bit part as a production assistant in any hall,

a sort of Elven wife in the Princess bride,

or in the unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt where she plays Lilian, Kimmy's Land Lady.

It's a great show. Carol Cain is one of the funniest people in it.

Her character is Arrelic from Old New York.

She says she looted everything she owns in the 77 Blackout.

But that doesn't mean she won't drop an occasional reference to contemporary stuff like Uber or the Arcade Fire.

But here's part of what makes Carol such a great actor.

She doesn't actually know a lot of those pop culture references.

She just, you know, she just brings it.

There are things that I say on Kimmy that I don't understand what they mean at all.

They're so up to date that they're almost like a head of time.

You know, and they are things to do with the modern computer world
