Today's hot spot, the Aztec Empire.

That fun little period of time in Central American history where gods were half bird,

half snake. Their warriors wore feathers with their armor and chocolate was so valuable it was used as

money. So pack up your bags and say, oh, hold on, I think I got an H-DAD correction here.

Oh, the Spanish speakers haven't arrived yet.

Okay, scrap the whole saying OLA thing.

Maybe just give one of those Aztec warriors a high-five on your way in or something.

Now, to find the Aztec Empire, aim for anywhere around the late

1400s or early 1500s in Central America. That's where all the good stuff is. If you find

Ernan Cortez, you've gone too far. Okay, so one of the top sites to see here in Tenochtitlan, that's the Aztec capital, is the Templo Major.

That means the great temple.

The only problem is that the temples stand at the top of these pyramids that have, like, a bajillion stairs.

Correction, the templo major has significantly less than one bajillion stairs.
