because they're the suspect and they know better. You're going to do. 6.35 PM on the evening of February 20th, 1974. The day was cool and now dusk, becoming darker

and colder. Carla Walker's body is discovered by a Fort Worth police patrol officer.

She was found laid on her back, head facing south in a large, muddy concrete cattle culvert

near Ben Brook Lake, more than three and a half days after she was abducted from the Ridgeley Brunswick Bowl about 10 miles away.

Strands of Carla's hair were found entangled in a barbed wire fence that separated the field where the culvert was from the road.

Her light blue dress only partially covered the young woman's body, appearing as if she'd

been dragged several yards through the barbed wire and into the ditch in which she was found.

Her panties had been removed and were not located at the scene.

The Fort Worth Police Department's crime lab scoured the area inch by inch for clues and found
