So your dad, you and your wife have a beautiful bouncing baby boy.

And one of the things that we frequently

talk about in our life as food people

is the interplay of children and restaurants and I think there are like chefs and

restauranters and servers who have really really strong feelings about

families with babies. Oh yeah totally you know I was one of those diners

who like six years ago I would always get like really

annoyed if I saw a kid and like the cool restaurant that I was at that was like screaming and

pounding their fists at the table being like oh well, well, you know, way for them to ruin this whatever.

Like I'm paying $34 for this plate of bukatini, how dare that child make noise?

Yeah, or just like, well, this place was, you know, they're interrupting the the cinema of this whatever

and now I you know I'm I'm totally guilty I'm on the other side of things and it's like a whole new world dining out with a kid. I mean I

actually feel like terrible for having those sort of opinions like six years ago.
