from burglary to rape, to murder, and eventually targeting children.

So we were talking about this yesterday, or I saw the news article, and it just baffled me that there is now a new rule where members of the academy who vote, the Oscars, just now are being required to watch every movie in the categories with which they are voting.

That's a new rule.

This is a brand new rule.

Seems like it should be the first rule when you were judging a movie.

How could that not be the first rule?

That's fucking insane.

I guess we have an explanation for how one of the dumbest movies of all time, Forrest Gump,

beat one of the best movies at all time, Shawshank Redemption for Best Picture.

One would say it probably would have been even more dominant had everyone watched it.

So if you don't watch the movie, then what is, like, how are you making your decision based on what?
