Summary

EastEnders actor Jake Wood, football presenter Natalie Pike, author and comedian Ian Moore, and comedian Carl Donnelly join Rick Edwards for an hour of sporting punditry, humour and entertainment. Points are awarded for informed comment, wit and passion, but taken away for nonsense and answers lacking in conviction.

In the final round, the top two points scorers go head-to-head in 'Defend the Indefensible' where they must both defend a statement however ludicrous or distasteful for twenty seconds. There can only be one winner!

Hello, good morning and welcome. So much great sport this weekend. Women's Rugby World Cup, the Ryder Cup, Aston Villa Fulham tomorrow. It seems ashamed to take up valuable five-live

we'll go with pithy one-line intros. First up, Man City, Scotland, doesn't sound Scottish, but is extremely agro.

That said blue. Yes. There it is. They're aggressive yes from Natalie Pike.

Scott MacTominee doesn't sound Scottish either, by the way, and no one questions him.

No, I would if he came on this show, and it is a big if. There's no way around it.

You are a fearsome competitor. Looking at your opponents today, who do you think you'll start on first? I think I'll make Jake cry first. Yes. Spot the weak one and take him down. The weak one, let's see what is. Yes. I'll take it, I'll take it. Yeah, and actually you don't get a choice, Jim. You have to take it. Next up, Mod, Blackburn, Chutney Maker, Blackburn, Ian Moore. Hello, Ian, how are you? That's not much of a CV, isn't it? Well, I mean, if I'd like to repeat Blackburn. I feel like I should have done done more with my life No, I complete, but do you know what? On that, I was in an airport Earlier this year and the Smiths had a big display The books are like, you should buy this for your holiday And it was Osman, obviously, and then a load of you And I was genuinely, I was really excited I was like saying to my wife, I know him, I know him I'm putting you back in on the load of you. Hey. And I was genuinely, I was really excited. I was like saying to my wife, I know him.
