Turn with me in the scriptures to the book of Isaiah, chapter 26, and then I think we'll go to John

14.

Isaiah 26 and John 14.

When we were out ministering in California, the Lord ministered to me on some things on the last night of our ministry there that I could tell was bigger than for one night there.

And so we're going to begin a new series this evening.

And I believe I'm confident that it is the next step and part of what we're supposed to be seeing and hearing and what's supposed to be developing in us.

You know, the Lord, the master, told Peter after he was raised from the dead, he said,

do you love me, Peter?

And he said, yes, yes, Lord, I love it.

He said, feed my lambs.

And then two more times, he said, do you love me? Feed my sheep. And again, do you love me, feed my lambs. And then two more times, he said, do you love me?

Feed my sheep.

And again, do you love me?

Feed my sheep.

It's very important to the Lord that his people be fed.

And he's telling Peter, if you love me, that's what you'll do, is you'll help take care of my people. And that's what

shepherds are supposed to do, is to lead and to feed, look after the sheep, the flock.

And he's not talking about feeding them hamburgers and hot dogs.

What's he talking about feeding them?

Jesus said, man shall not live by bread, natural bread alone, but by every word that proceeds or comes out of the mouth of God.

Our spirit needs to eat, just like our bodies need to eat.

Our bodies, if they're not fed, if they don't receive proper nourishment, will get weak
