the West Coast is waking up and they're saying, we don't want the head coaches we had this past

year. Arizona Cardinals head coach out after three seasons, 15 and 36 in his tenure there,

three and 14 this past year.

And I think the most damning thing, 28.7 points per game, that's the most by the Arizona

Cardinals since 1958.

After all the additions they made this offseason on the defensive side of the ball, in bolstering

that defensive line, you know, adding to the cornerback

room, they were 26th in EPA per play against still. Losers of nine straight heading into the

barn. This one, I think we both agreed down the stretch here. This one had to happen.

It sucks because Jonathan Gannon was my preseason coach of the year,

candidate. I thought he was, I thought the Cardinals were going to make the playoffs. But even within that,

you know, it's sort of telling how poorly coached this team was, especially on the offensive

side of the ball, given how much talent they have on the roster. Trey McBride just set the record

for receptions for a tight end in the season. Michael Wilson had a great finish to the season. Whatever you can get out of Marvin Harrison, Jr. He's played really well to finish the season before getting hurt. And then defensively, Walter Nolan, before being, when he's healthy, like, he played well. Will Johnson was good when he was healthy. Josh Sweat was having a great year. But I think that all of this

it sort of leads to coaching. And again, we talk about the theme,

this coaching cycle has been development. It has not been,

the young players have not developed as much. And for the Cardinals,

they could never really get out of their own way with their quarterback.
