0:44.0 | He's the scientific lead for a new project called Car to Terra, which looks at using subterrahertz frequencies for self-driving vehicles. |

0:57.4 | can you give us just the overview of this project, Car Tatar? |
1:01.5 | So this is a recently started a European project. |
1:05.0 | So it's funded by the European Commission, |
1:07.8 | and it involves several countries in Europe. |
1:10.5 | And the main focus of this is to |
1:12.9 | utilize state-of-the-art Terra-Hus technology. |
1:18.4 | So that's an electronic technology which is utilizing the Terrahertz frequency spectrum, |
1:24.8 | which is 100 times higher frequencies than mobile phones, for instance. |
1:28.3 | And we want to utilize this frequency spectrum with recent technology to create a new car-radass sensor, |
1:39.3 | which is for passenger safety in the cabin of the car. |
1:44.5 | So monitoring the passengers in the pre-crash and post-crash scenarios. |
