I just read on Variety that Call Me By Your Name and Susperia Director

Luca Gardagnino signed on to direct the Scarface reboot from Universal Pictures.

The Cohen Brothers wrote the last treatment for the upcoming film script.

Al Pacino's 1983 Scarface remake was markedly better than the original 1932 version.

Question is, do you think the trend continues

and the newest Scarface story will be the best yet

or Lightning won't strike twice, Diamond Dogg over and out.

And yep, they've been talking about for a few years.

Now, you may have forgotten, but we've actually been talking

about the possibility of a Scarface yet another Scarface reboot because as he pointed out

Al Pacinos is itself a reboot but they were talking about doing another reboot of Scarface for years.

A number of years ago David Ayer was supposed to direct it, the guy who directed Suicide Squad.

Then after that, for the longest time, Antoine Fukwa, who I think is a tremendous director, was on and he was supposed to direct it, and then that kind of fizzled away.
