by James Pierce by Neil Jones and by Christian Walsh and James starting with you a

massive day for Liverpool on Sunday and every hope that we can get the Yergen Club ear underway with a trophy?

Yeah, it is a huge occasion, isn't it? I think it's massive for the manager and for this group of players

when you think of where Liverpool were at when

clock took over less than five months ago the thought that Liverpool could be at

Wembley picking up a trophy so soon after it was a pipe dream really and I think it would be would be a real symbolic

achievement for the manager in terms of what he's trying to achieve and for this

group of players as well I think Jordan Henderson will probably be the only player and that started line up on Sunday

who was part of the last Liverpool team to win a trophy four years ago in this competition.

So yeah it's huge because there's been so many

false storms and unrest over the last 10 years at at amfield and you know times when you thought the club was on the up and then they've run into trouble.

But this is a fantastic occasion and if Liverpool can get their hands on the trophy you feel as if it would be the first steps towards a really special period for the club under the

urban clock.

John's the people talk about the League Cup and in its various guises and sponsors over the years and

you know it sort of obviously is the sort of third domestic trophy if you like but it's

not just about it is about winning the trophy, but then there's the other

bit that James alludes to potentially, we're expecting changes in the summer, but there'll be a core

of players in that team on someday who would be expecting to be you know

leading a sort of clock revolution next season still? Yeah yeah we've seen over

the years of Liverpool's history, the players that are associated with it,
