Pretty shocking turn of events here.

Convicted Phil and Jesse Smolett was literally just released from jail a short time ago.

This was after an appeals court agreed with his lawyers that he should be released

pending his appeal of his conviction for faking a hate crime.

Now this ruling came out from the appeals court today after a Cook County judge sent

and Smolett last week to immediately begin serving 150 days in jail for his conviction

on five felony counts of disorderly conduct for lying to police.

Now the appeals court said today, Smolett can be released after he posted a personal

reconnaissance bond of a $150,000.

That's right.

Juicy Somaliay is loose on the streets, run for your life if you're just a Smolett, I

guess.

He's really a no threat to anybody but wasting the Chicago police's money.

He's his own victim.

So I don't fully understand the story.

Does this happen a lot where people get out like this?

Well, for whatever reason the judge said, yeah, well, he's appealing.

He can come out again.
