Are we counting down

one week till thanksgiving i do believe so listen um last night i thought let me make some pumpkin bread

and freeze it because you know we have a house full of family and kids around the holidays,

and they like to eat that for breakfast. So I go to the store to get some canned pumpkin,

and because my phone spies on me, I get home from the store, and my phone serves me up,

hey, are you sure that's pumpkin and your canned pumpkin?

And I just want to say that we are at a point in humanity and human civilization on the timeline of our species on this planet, where all we want to do is be pissed off and fight with each other.

Now, I'm being asked to entertain the possibility that canned pumpkin is a conspiracy.

And I just have to say, no, no, I'm not at all interested in arguing with you about what is in canned pumpkin.

So I read the article just to make sure that there wasn't, you know, like it isn't soylent green.

And it turns out that canned pumpkin contains pumpkin, of course, but it also contains squash.

And that's because pumpkins are squash.

And the kind of pumpkins that they make into canned pumpkin are called Dickinson pumpkins, which don't look like jack-a-lanterns. There's not really any kind of like scientific distinction between

a Dickinson pumpkin and a freaking jack-a-lanard pumpkin. It's just a different shape. And Libby's
