I've been excited about this for a long time. We've been talking about podcasting forever. Glad to make it up here. Yeah, the Real Dirt Podcast, Cultivate, Growers Coco, man. You are, you're a busy man. Man, I like, if people ask me what I do all the time, because I'm a little confusing, and I'm basically say, if it has to do with weed, I want to be involved with it. I mean, right. God, you had no choice with a name like Chip Baker. Hey, my dad gave me some good. My dad gave me some good things, but like that last name was a really good one. Yeah. I've definitely been known as a baker for sure.

And I, yeah, you know, I just love weed.

My day job is I sell equipment to people and make cocoa fiber-based potting soils in Colorado

and all over the country.

And then like my passion and all the rest of the time is anything else weed i love yes and

by the way i know you and that's 100% true and by the way we're laughing because uh i used cocoa

i showed you my grow your own brand growers cocoa and so i was showing you the cheap bricks

and all the different experiments

that I've done with them and and uh you were tired I was like a dude goes uh hey triple washed

and he goes yeah I embedded that turp man I love it though man you're an OG in the cocoa game so

appreciate you man it's uh it's I have been doing it a long time. I imported my first cocoa in 2000. Wow. And that was like pre-Google, pre-Aliaba, all of that stuff. Was it any good? Oh, it was great. It was great, Coco, because at a time there weren't that many producers. It was like literally for agriculture, it was just Sri Lanka that was making it.

Okay.

And then like India and the Philippines, they all made like a fiber product.

Because really what's going on is the short fibers that we grow in that we call quar or cocoa fiber.

Sure.

That's just the waste product from the actual textile industry where they take the long

burgers, they rip them off the coconut shell, and they weave them in all kinds of

textiles.

Like flooring or just all the kind.

Like, man, flooring, rugs, insulation, matting, like, hey, you guys ever have an old

Volkswagen bug?
