Let's start with the basics.

What are we talking about when we say cannabis?

Just take us through it.

Cannabis is the umbrella term that we use for all of the products that come from the cannabis

Sativa L plant. So it gives us both marijuana and hemp. And they're actually the same thing in the

same plant. The only difference between the two is the content of THC, which is the psychoactive component that we associate with marijuana.

So if you make an analogy to coffee, it's decaf coffee is coffee, although arguably some people

would say that it's not, but it's still coffee. It just doesn't have as much caffeine in it.

So this is the same thing with the cannabis plant. When we have hemp, it's a

cannabis setiva L plant with less than 0.3% THC. And when we have marijuana, it has over that

threshold of THC. And then we have CBD, which is one of the cannabinoids that's produced by the

cannabis plant. And there's also some

others, like CBG has gotten more attention recently. But CBD can be derived from either hemp
