All right everybody, welcome to The Sincast. This is Chris Atkinson from CinemaSens, joined by Jonathan Watkins.

Hello, hello, and today we're going to be doing a mini pod, candy pod. Yeah, sure, and candy man, the, I guess remake slash sequel or spiritual sequel.

Because I'm trying to figure out like what's a spoiler like, because it is definitely for me one thing specifically, but I don't know if that is a spoiler.

Say in what it is. It's a sequel to the 1992.

It's a direct sequel to like it completely like I don't, I haven't seen the third movie, but it definitely ignores the stuff from the second one.

And so right off the bat, since we're in the non-spoiler territory, I really like, yeah, yeah, exactly.

I really like the visuals in this, and I really like the, there's some, there are some kills, the way they're done that are, I haven't seen in a major horror film in a long time, and I really enjoyed them.

This is movie by the way. Yeah, it's very rated art. This movie, by the way, made 22 million domestically, which I think is a huge success.

Yeah, they were projecting like low teens. So that was, that was a big bump for them.

Yeah, for sure, but that's what's going to strike you right off the bat is the visuals that are in this movie.

Obviously, we have some, some great acting talent in this movie.

And yeah, overall, I would say I enjoyed this movie. I have some caveat, so.

Yeah, me too. Yeah, me too, for sure. But you're right, man. This cast is cool. Is it Yaya?

Yeah, so Yaya Abdul-Mateen, I'm, I'm really digging this guy. He was, I mean, I've only seen Aquaman the one time, but he really stood out to me in that movie as the most interesting, most interesting person.

And he's really good in this. And then Tiana Paris, who plays Brianna in this, I guess it's his, just his girlfriend, right? I don't think they're married.

Yeah. Yeah.

You know, she's really good. And there's a lot of fun supporting actors to Nathan Stewart, Jared, plays her brother. He's really funny and he's really, he's really good.
