So I guess we'll start back when you were growing up in Hawaii. Was there anybody that

you really looked up to like any artists, performers who first caught your eye?

Yeah, I grew up in Maui and I mean, there weren't any LGBT people to idolize, really. I mean,

my idolization, like my favorite person, other than like, you know, boy George and, you

know, all of those singers, Gazz and Durand Durand. And like I just, you know, to Pesh mode,

I loved like old-school Hollywood, but my favorite was Sitcheries and Sofila Ram. Those

were my two favorite Sitcheries because she's just an idol to me. She's an amazing beauty

and a dancer like no other. And I mean, there are dancers as good as she is, but not as good

as projecting her ability on camera. And she was who I looked up to. And my parents when I was

little played me singing in the rain. When I was 10, I saw it for the first time. And I loved

it so much and all I could stare at was Sitcheries during the whole thing. And so I just kind of grew

up wanting to be able to move like that and do what she did. Did you take dance lessons as a kid?
