Summary

In July of 1976, John realized his calling in life was to add value to leaders. In this new Candid Conversation, John reflects on five major events he has participated in over the last eight days. He shows how they’re examples of and the fulfillment of his call to add value to leaders who multiply value to others. Are you ready to live out your calling?

John adds value to people because he values people. He wants to sow seeds of potential into them. His goal has always been to sow seeds and not worry about the harvest. In this candid conversation, he shares a powerful takeaway you can apply to your own leadership impact: If you add value to people with the hopes of getting a return, you do not get joy until you get a return. However, if you sow in order to add value to people, you receive joy in the moment!

0:55.8

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What am I supposed to do today after I go to the restroom? Yeah.

because I'm only 72. And when they said 73, I thought, does it really matter? Yeah.

1:23.1

I mean, it's 73, 72. Oh, it is old. 72, 73. You know, I'm sitting across gang from the man

1:38.4

you have, I don't know when you discovered your life purpose of adding value to leaders who

1:43.8

multiply value to others, but it has since because you found companies, it's now our North Star.

1:49.7

It's now what we shoot for every single day. Are we adding value? Are we adding value to leaders?

1:56.1

Not just people. We're called to leaders. And are we adding value to leaders? You have a

propensity to action. In other words, are they multiplying value to others? And I've watched you

in 19 years for me. I've watched you live this out. And now it is mind boggling the payoff, the
