Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger cover the surprising news that French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron have filed a 218-page, 22-count defamation lawsuit in Delaware Superior Court against conservative commentator Candace Owens. The suit alleges that Owens spread false and malicious conspiracy theories, including claims that Brigitte Macron was born male and is secretly Emmanuel Macron’s brother, as well as that the couple is involved in CIA mind-control experiments. 

These accusations were widely circulated through Owens’ eight-part podcast series “Becoming Brigitte,” social media posts, and branded merchandise, which the Macrons argue were used to profit from their reputational harm. In response, Owens has doubled down on her claims, calling the lawsuit a “goofy PR stunt” and framing the legal action as an attack on her First Amendment rights. And special bonus: Jimmy is even called out by name in the lawsuit for talking about Candace Owens’ claims!
