is turning Yellowstone's geology into stunning pieces of music. First up this week we're all aware of messenger RNA vaccines thanks largely to the role they helped to play in turning the

tide against COVID-19. But before the pandemic had even begun, researchers in New York

had been testing the same MRNA vaccine technology but as a treatment for cancer.

I've been speaking to Vinodbala Chandran who's a surgical oncologist at the Memorial

Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

This week they announced that they've successfully tested a personalized

MRNA vaccine for pancreatic cancer. This was administered after the patients had undergone surgery

to remove their tumors and so far half of the trial participants have not seen their tumors return,
