The Race is on, and it's time for the first in a new regular series of episodes where we talk driver rankings after each Grand Prix and take your questions on what I was thinking.

What did I get right? What did I get wrong? And what's the methodology used? I'm Edgraw and joining me to take

charge of the grilling is Glenn Freeman. Welcome to the very first of our driver ranking podcast,

all about the Canadian Grand Prix. And joining me as the first in a rotating cast

of people who will be my interrogators on behalf of the race members club who have fired

questions at me. It's Glenn Freeman. Do you feel privileged, Glenn, to be first up to attack me?

Hugely privileged. Any chance to attack you has to be grabbed with both hands.

So I'm looking forward to that.

But I'm also looking forward to representing our members, as you mentioned there.

They've been questioning you on your rankings and the way you rate the drivers for quite a long time now.

But we want to bring it out into the open and have these debates for more people to hear how wrong you are, basically,

at every opportunity, Ed?

Yes, well, I give them plenty of opportunity to do that, but it's always interesting to talk

through how it works.

As this is the first episode that we're doing this, it's probably worth us very, very briefly

talking about the methodology, which is, it's a bit of an inexact science because every driver's

weekend is a little bit different. Everybody's got different cars, etc. There's different missions.

So the main things are it reflects the full weekend performance. So I consider everything qualifying

the race. Qualifying I usually call lap zero of the race. And the reason for that is if I was to

qualify on pole and lead from start
