Canada, Canada's newspapers and preparing for the next general election.

I welcome Conrad Black, the distinguished biographer who writes a column for the National

Post, which is part of an organization called I Learn from Conrad Post Media.

The proposed future is for post-media to merge with Nord Star Capital, which publishes

the Toronto Star and a number of significant suburban newspapers.

This would put together a nationwide spread of newspapers, but there's more to this, because

here in the 21st century, the way that some newspapers are surviving is they appeal to

me, the online consumer.

I'm certainly never going to get a paper copy of the London Telegraph, but I read it every

morning, well, actually, I don't wait for the morning.

I read it when I wake up in the middle of the night because London's five hours ahead.

That is modern newspaper reading.

and the National Post are entertaining a merger.

Is this an English language merger?
