from the White House. I welcome Gregory Copley, publisher and editor of Defense and Foreign Affairs,

a very proud member of the Commonwealth. He's an Australian national. We will speak to the Australian

election soon enough, but we begin with Mr. Carney at the White House.

Gregory, saying you're not for sale is a very clever presentation to a man whose bulk of his career was spent in real estate development.

Mr. Trump answered very quickly and adroitly. Never say never. Fine. What is driving this story? My understanding is that

Canada is about 40 million people. It's been blessed by God with natural resources in all directions,

especially towards the formerly frozen north. It has a devoted, devoted public in all areas that I'm

familiar with, and I talk to Canada twice a week. In addition to that, it has a record to be

admired of how it's come in and help the Commonwealth in its struggles of the 20th century and ready for the 21st.

The Canadian people are built with the same bricks that the U.S. people are built with.

Immigants from Europe, immigrants from Asia, immigrants from Latin America.

So is there a natural driver to this, or is it just the rhetoric of one president?
