Right now the debate is, is the West in decline?

Is the United States and Canada and Mexico and all of us here in the Americas are we in decline.

I believe I welcome Conrad Black who would say we're not.

He's the author of the new book, The Political and Strategic History of the World.

in decline.

I believe you say no. And. My first reason would be because we are completely

transparent and when we're not transparent we complain about it.

What is your reason why we're not in decline?

It comes to a number of things.

First of all, I'm speaking now of the United States and Canada in particular, but the employment

rate is high and the productivity levels are high.

You have a fully employed and very productive workforce in both countries.
