As has been the case ever since Donald Trump darkened the door of the Oval Office, Americans

are having to apologize to our allies because of Donald's egregious foreign policies.

Often hidden in plain sight, but there for everyone to see, not a letter, but a short, succinct

message made up of just a handful of words that sometimes gets lost as it's

shuffled among the big brands. But when pointed out, someone has paid a lot of money for

this note, someone who wants to be nameless, someone who is an American and doesn't like how the

U.S. has treated one of its greatest allies.

It says, Dear Canada, we are so very, very, very sorry. I thought how delightful that somebody is

actually going to put their money where their mouth is and say how appalling all this is.

The anonymous U.S. citizen who paid for these billboards said, quote, I wanted to communicate

to our besieged neighbors to the North how many Americans are pained by the economic damage done

and the disrespectful assaults on Canada's sovereignty, unquote.

Canadians were pleased to see this show of accountability with one resident saying,

and say how appalling this is, unquote, to which I concur. This is so appalling. The ways in which

Donald and the Trump regime have treated what had heretofore been our oldest, closest

ally, Canada and one of our closest trading partners, is inexplicable, unacceptable,

unacceptable, and deeply, deeply wrong. And I think it's very, very important that those of us

who are on the right side of this continue to support Canada.

And as much as it hurts, continue to support Canada in its efforts to withstand the onslaught of United States tariffs,

which are, of course, making their goods more expensive for American and citizens,
