growth. All that said, in your most recent column, Conrad, good evening to you, you write a

sentence that I celebrated as soon as I read it. Canada is the only transcontinental, bicultural,

parliamentary confederation in the history of the world, and of all large

countries, our political institutions are senior to any except those of the United States and the

United Kingdom. Accurate, accurate, accurate. So it occurred to me, who could complain about
