| 0:00.0 | This is Monica Rineagle and you are listening to the Nutrition Diva podcast. Welcome. |
| 0:09.2 | Today we're talking about nutrition and hair loss. |
| 0:12.5 | But first, a question from Aaron, who recently saw an ad for a dietary supplement containing, |
| 0:18.3 | and I apologize that this is a little bit gross, beef organ complex, |
| 0:23.1 | which was freeze, dried, powdered beef, liver, kidney, and heart. And the ad talked about |
| 0:29.7 | the high levels of certain nutrients found in organ meats, nutrients that they claimed you might |
| 0:34.9 | miss out on if you're only eating the muscle meat. |

| 1:19.8 | solve that problem. Say, for example, the problem you are trying to solve is a lack of energy. |
| 1:27.2 | Well, that's one of the things that the |
| 1:28.9 | supplement claims to help with, but it really would depend on what's causing your lack of |
| 1:34.7 | energy, wouldn't it? If you're tired because you're only sleeping four hours a night, |
| 1:40.0 | all the powdered beef liver in the world isn't going to help as much as getting some extra shut-eye. |
| 1:46.1 | But low iron levels can also cause low energy. And in that case, increasing your iron stores |
| 1:52.5 | could potentially be a solution to that problem. And this supplement is an excellent source of iron. |
