talking about this question. Can you live in Korea without speaking Korean and some other topics?

I hope you enjoy this conversation. So Billy, yes. As far as I know, you don't live in Korea, but you visit regularly.

You visit like once a year, right?

Yeah, I'm there at least two months a year, sometimes three.

But I always go during the summer, sometimes a second time during the fall, if I feel like it.

Or if there's something something if there's money

burning a hole in my wallet I'll try to go more than that but yeah I'm there at least at least two

three months a year for as long as I've known you you always spoke good Korean so

I'm not sure because you've always spoken good Korean since the first time I met you.

But have you ever visited Korea as a non-advanced speaker of the Korean language?

When I first went there, I didn't speak it.

When was that?

But that was 2005. Okay. That was 21 years ago. Yeah. It feels crazy when I

think about it like that because I clearly remember being on my first flight to Korea and being

so confused when I stepped off the airplane and thinking, wait, this isn't Japan.

This is like really different that I expected because...

So you didn't plan to come to Korea? Is that what you mean?

I was planning to come to Korea, but I mean, I didn't know what it would be like.
