I want to take a second and talk about the next video that I'm going to be releasing on the show.

And this next video is nothing. I mean nothing like anything I've done in this show before. What this is and what you're going to see is a collaboration that I did with a friend of mine who is a contemporary artist his name is Jeff Zilm.

developed where he has a process where he takes 35 millimeter prints or 16 millimeter prints of movie film.

So he'll take the reel, take the film off.

He has a chemical process where he strips off the emulsion and then what he does

with these abstract paintings that are then named after the film that they were taken from.

And he's got series that he's worked within this format.

I went to a show of his in Brooklyn last year called comedies.

And so anyway, he has a very unique style.

It's very interesting.

Jeff is an old friend of mine.

He is one of my favorite people in the world.

We worked together at the Dallas Museum of Art when I was there. And when I started our

offices were right next to one another. And basically we became friends and every morning

we would go get coffee. We'd go across the street to the hotel there and have coffee before work and we'd talk about art and music and whatever would come up and in many ways

for me my time at the Dallas Museum of art was a little bit of a second time of growing up in my life,

and Jeff was my buddy in that period, and I think the world of him.

We still keep up today. When I left the museum, I left to do this show full time and Jeff left at the same time his art career was taking off in a major way.
