So I keep getting these old headlines in my timeline.

A middle schooler won an award for her science project which found that on average

70% of the ice that comes from fast food restaurants is dirtier than toilet water.

Well of course I have to stop and read it and it's a Florida

student found that ice at fast food restaurants obviously dirtier than

toilet water at the same establishment. The 12-year-old Jasmine Roberts, student she hypothesized

that the ice at fast food joints was probably dirtier than toilets. So she went to five fast

food restaurants and collected samples.

She ordered cups of ice and put them in sterile beakers.

She also went into the bathroom, flushed the toilet once, and collected a sample.

Findings were pretty disturbing. 70% of the time, the ice from the fast food restaurants contains more bacteria than the fast food restaurants, toilet water.

Now that was what she said in her news report and in her report at the Hillsborough County Public Schools

Preparing Students for Life Program, the STEM Program program and she had they did a news report on her however

this was I don't know way back in the mid 2000s or something like that I mean she was 12 at the time and then I know

she went on Oprah when she was 12 and then I find a story about her in 2017 saying that she's 23 now in this story. So she's what 33 now? Something like that, maybe older? And this

happened so long ago. My gosh that water is clean. and this

had happened so long ago my gosh that water is clean we don't need to worry about it these headlines are just scare tactic the fast food restaurants are fine sure

she placed first in the Regional Science Fair and received $800. That's nice. But that was so long ago. We've taken care of the dirty ice issue at fast food restaurants and movie theaters.
