Today Joseph and I are missing Lisa who is away and we're going to do what we often do, which is to unpack some archetypal material,

otherwise known as a fairy tale. And the tail we are going to look at today is the six swans, which has a number of variations.

It's told in lots of different ways

A king went hunting in a vast forest, got lost, and couldn't find his way out.

Finally, he came upon a witch and asked her to show him the way out of the forest.

lose his life. He could be saved if he married her daughter. The king cherished his life and he was so frightened.
