Hey, Father Jacob Machado. This is Father Sean Conroy. Welcome to Catholic stuff you should know.

I need to remember to call you Father Sean on the podcast. It's public. It's public. And we got to, it is our titles.

Yeah, why, how come priests don't call each other father? Do you have a good answer for that?

I don't have a good answer for it. And I'd say I do it like 50% of the time. It depends on

the place, the context, the person. Like if I'm sending an email between Father Matt, my pastor

and I, I usually just say Matt. If there's other people on it, I always say Father Matt, my pastor and I, I'll usually just say Matt.

If there's other people on it, I always say Father Matt.

Right, right, right, right.

But same thing with kind of like just talking with guys one-on-one versus in person.

But then there's like certain priests who you've known forever who are, you know,

we're priests way before we were priests.

And it's kind of hard to not say, like, Father Jim Thermis.

How are you doing, Father Jim?

Yeah.

No, I think priests just call each other by their first name because we're all kind of priests.

We all call each, we're all fathers in that sense.

But yeah, in public settings, we definitely keep the title, which is good. Anywho, uh, I'm doing well.

Just enjoying my suburban life down here in, uh, centennial.
