Guys, after watching this weekend, can we say the ACC will not have a college football playoff team this year?

I think it should be something discussed at a high level.

The conference is terrible.

I don't think a 10 and 2 ACC team is better than 9 and 3 SEC team.

And here's your problem.

If you reward these teams for simply being the best of a motley, flea-ridden crew,

you're setting up a bad situation where you're empowering teams to play less teams.

You're taking away any reason.

Like, for instance, if you keep Texas out at 9 and 3, let's say they beat A&M,

you will have essentially

penalized them for playing Ohio State on the road to open the season versus teams in the

ACC who play no one all year round. Even now, you're seeing the possibility of what you're saying

is that Miami beat Notre Dame. Now, let me be clear. I don't think Notre Dame or Miami

belongs in. The point is, Notre Dame's ranked ahead of Miami. What's the point of taking the game?
