from an enormous ball of plasma. It keeps us warm, but not too warm. And it's been stable enough

to give us time to evolve to develop technology and science and understand our fragile place in the

universe.

And is there also time for us to intervene in the sun's eventual demise?

Can we develop the technology and massive engineering capacity to keep the sun from going

red giant and frying the whole planet?
