So over the past couple of months, President Joe Biden has been in a heated battle with Republicans and some members of his own party to pass a $3.5 trillion social spending bill.

To put it in perspective, the price tag for that bill is

more than all veterans benefits from the years 1962 to 2020 combined, which was about $2.9 trillion.

So with a price tag like that, it's important to ask how we're going to pay for it, and more importantly,

who will pay for it?

Keeping in mind that the U.S. national debt at this point is about $28 trillion in climbing.

What are the potential consequences of piling on more debt?

So, Steve, first question for you.

President Biden's $3.5 trillion plan is only the most recent

massive spending plan we've seen, but obviously he's not the first spending president we've had.

How did we get here? And what were the main contributors?

Well, this was part of what I talk about in my Prager You video, which I hope people will go to, it's called

The Bankrupting of America. And you're quite right. This is a bipartisan problem that's happened,

you know, for the last 35 years or so, will we continue to just add more and more debt,

whether it's a Republican or Democrat administration, except what's being proposed here

is so audacious, so massively fiscally responsible
