So we've done a couple of episodes on this podcast about how to water your house plants and how to water your garden, but we've never dove into water quality and what we should be watering our plants with and what we shouldn't be watering our plants with.

And after my last few years, I've experienced, because I've moved so much, I've experienced New York City tap water,

rural New York tap water, well water, and now water in Florida. And I really did not understand

how different tap water can be based on where you live and how that water can affect your plants,

indoors and outdoors.

So I sat down with water quality experts, City and Kaufman,

to unpack what's actually coming out of our faucets and hoses.

And it was a really interesting episode, Plant Friends.

This was a really interesting conversation, breaking down hard water versus soft water, chlorine,

reverse osmosis, and what gardeners really need to know about how to keep their plants and their

bodies happy, healthy, and hydrated. And we also address some quips and rumors about water
