Around them are tents dotted in the field.

This is where over 300 health experts live.

They're here to stop a deadly disease

that's already infected over 2,000 people.

The virus is Ebola.

Julian Anoku from the World Health Organization is one of the experts.

Every day we have to convince Ebola suspected persons to accept to go to the treatment center. to

accept to go to the treatment center to be tested.

Julian and her colleagues hike deep into the tropical rainforest to spread this

message.

Their work is vital and it's a race against time.

Ebola is a lethal virus. Death is the stuff of nightmares, swift, painful, and towards the end, internal and external bleeding.

Because it's so contagious, family members can't comfort you in your final days.

You're put in isolation.

The virus has just crossed the border into Uganda.

It's the second worst outbreak in the history of the disease, but

this time something new is at the disposal of healthcare workers, a vaccine. So this week we're asking can vaccines stop Ebola in the DLC.
