0:40.8	Alec Murdoch, the former attorney from South Carolina, who is currently serving two life
0:46.7	sentences for the murders of his wife and son, as well as 27 years for state financial crimes, was sentenced to another 40 years for state financial crimes was sentenced to another 40 years for various
0:55.3	federal crimes. The judge also ordered him to pay 8.7 million dollars in
1:01.1	restitution to his victims though I'm not entirely sure
1:05.2	where that money will come from aside from the selling of his properties because he
1:09.5	has definitely had a bit of financial turmoil lately.
1:14.0	Last September, Murdoch pled guilty to 22 federal charges.
1:18.0	These included wire fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy, money laundering, and it all stemmed from him working with a bank
1:27.6	employee to defraud both his personal injury clients as well as his law firm out of millions of dollars
1:36.2	in settlement funds.
