Every day Artham Brunjakov sees firsthand the costs of the war in Ukraine.

Artham is a political analyst, and recently he drove several hundred miles through the eastern part of the country.

We're going from Harkev to the Nesk region and we're going through like cities which were under Russian occupation.

And mostly of them are completely destroyed or mostly destroyed,

almost destroyed.

For Artem, witnessing the destruction is a reminder of just how important it is for Ukraine to have support from the United States.

But for the first part of this year, that support wasn't there.

Congress spent months debating whether to send any more aid to Ukraine.

Finally, two weeks ago, President Biden signed a bill that sends them $61 billion.

And now money and weapons are reaching the country.
