Philadelphia Eagles game just came to an end and what a day it was for me to just sit around and watch football all day

which is why I'd like to thank the National Football League for putting the Minnesota Vikings on

Thanksgiving because this was great. I mean what a day it was. There have been times before where I have bemoaned getting a Sunday whether the Vikings have a by week or a Thursday,

and then the schedule is bad,

and the games are bad.

That was not the case today.

All sorts of wacky crazy action today,

but Jonathan Harrison with me here for a sort of episode of Hot Routes which by the way we do a hot routes

covering the rest of the league it's spelled with a z so make sure you go find that we do that every

week it's usually up by Wednesday but Jonathan I've written down five questions reacting to

today's games, but with, of course, a Viking spin to all of them.

And I think the right place to start is with what we just saw on Sunday night football.

But I'm going to give a little dealer's choice here,

Jonathan. Would you rather talk about the Eagles angle of this or the Packers angle of this?

I think because Vikings fans were weirdly cheering for the Packers to win this to draw closer to the Eagles.

I think we should start surprisingly with the Eagles because that's the main competition for the Vikings the rest of the season because at this point it seems like the

NFC North is all but locked up I mean you'd have to historically collapse and have the lions go on a tear which is not going to happen as I think everybody's kind of willing to say at this point

So basically you're just challenging the Eagles for first place in the NFC so I think we should start there

Well the lions could go on a tear but they would lose every game on a field goal that they gave to the other team.
