part of the Athletics Podcast Network. After that, that two-game spell, they're now three in a row.

They've won 11 of their last 13, and they are at, what are they at, 23 and 14 on the season,

and won 11 straight at the Wells Fargo Center. How you doing, Rich? Derek, I'm doing well. It seems like I'm a little healthier than you. It seems like a little bit of a flu game is going on right now. We joke that we're going to have a flu game podcast on New Year's Day. It turns out I actually did get the flu the day after New Year's January 2nd.

I've been a little under the weather here throughout most of this week. This podcast has been delayed a little bit because of that, but we will get through it. I might have to rely on you a little bit. I will ask a couple questions and you can talk for 20 minutes straight, but we will, and by we, I mean, you will get through it. That's fair. And I'll just say the first thing that comes to mind based off last night's game, which is the kind of improbable win over the Pacers.

Though a little bit of a weird one because I thought they really controlled the game until like the last six minutes.

Then they turtled and sucked and turned the ball over and Buddy Heald started to make some threes.

And then they somehow pull the game kind of out of there, you know what to finish it.

I think as much as we talk about the Sixers...

Mind you, a lot of the Lakers win, doesn't it?

Yep.

I think as much as we talk about the Sixers and blown leads and kind of improbable bad, you know, fourth quarters and

situational basketball, which, like, look, there was some of that in last night's game.

It just happened with three minutes left as opposed to 30 seconds left.

I feel like it doesn't really matter who the opponent is.

It doesn't really matter who's on the Sixers anymore, because I actually

think Ben Simmons used to be kind of the force on the Sixers end that would start these.
