But with the Patriots continuing their West Coast swing, they have the

Raiders this week after their win over the Arizona Cardinals. It's time to focus in on where

their 7 and 6 team is. Mack Jones, been a little lippy the last couple of weeks. Here's what

Matthew Slater had to say about Mac and ownership of the team, meaning the

players not Robert Kraft.

I think he continues to find his voice.

I think one thing Devin and I do is to encourage him to exercise his voice more.

You know, it's sometimes tough when you got to go like Devin. You kind of feel like you

got to defer to him all the time, but I think Devin has really been intentional about like, hey,

this is your team. You know, you need to speak up, you need to take ownership, and I think he's done

that. You know, that's tough. I don't care if you're in, you know, who we are in a year two, that's going to be tough. And he's done a really good job with that.

So, you know, it's great to see him continue to grow in that role.

And I know we look to him for that leadership, and he's done a great job.
