Tuesday, October 31st, 2003, happy Halloween to those that are trick-or-treating in the snow tonight.

There's not a chance in hell you will find me out there in 35 degrees in snow.

I do that for football, and that's about it.

And that's the way that that's going to be.

And now with the way this team is going to be. And now with the way

this team is going, I'm not so sure that you even want to do it for football. Try, I guess I'll

start by asking you this. Is there a worse, maybe you haven't experienced this, so forgive me

if I'm asking out of turn, but is there a worse feeling that you can think of that you're on a team that's not playing the expectations to put it nicely or

to put it, you know, poorly is that they're bad. And then it's cold and nasty and like it's

just not desirable conditions. Is there anything worse as far as playing football than having

to play in a game like that? No, it's, I mean, that's downright miserable in every single way.

Hits don't feel the same when it's cold. So now losing and then still having to go out there and

hit and do all those other things. Miserable. The fans are miserable. Half of them don't show up.

Half of them leave after you give up two touchdowns in a row.

Everything about it just drags on, and it's just frustrating, right?

You come to the sideline and coach is mad at you.

You're half mad at him because he probably called a play that you think sucked

and someone missed a block or busted the coverage.

It's just all bad.

Like there's no way to enjoy.
