Happy Wednesday, everybody. It's middle of the week. We're almost about halfway through another week of the offseason.

And we're keeping up with our state of the program series today. And today we're talking about wide receivers, which I know is going to be a very, very interesting discussion because, you know, right, it feels like the last couple of seasons. It's been the year that the wide receivers are going to have a big year, but there's things that we've seen this offseason that lead us to believe that they're on the verge of taking that next step and they're finally starting to come around. So in part one of today show, we're going to dive around what we've seen in the spring and go from there. And then part two, we're talking about what questions still remain, because not all questions were answered for any position group this spring for Notre Dame. And then part three, we're going to be talking about the future. What do they have to do to continue building this room for years to come? Yeah, it is. I mean, it's like, I feel like we've been here before.

You know, I feel like this is the annual, this is the year the receivers finally figure it out show.

Like that, that's the thing.

Like last year it was the arrival of Malachi Fields and Jaden Greathouse and it's going to be so good.

And Malachi Fields, I think, was everything I hoped he'd be. When they targeted him,

he was pretty good. And I feel, and I feel like some conversation I had is that was going to

ramp back up when they got to the postseason. You know, like his targets in the first couple games

were a little different than maybe later in the year because I think there were different things that they were kind of working on later in the

year and that would have ramped back up here in the postseason had they made the postseason.

You know, but obviously we saw him be good.

We saw Jordan Faison breakout and then Jaden Greathouse gets hurt and wasn't really getting targeted then.

And I like a lot of things that Mike Brown has done at Notre Dame and we're going to have

an interesting conversation about him.

But like that's the most probably frustrating thing we've seen from him so far.

It was his kind of push of Will Pauling over Jaden Greathouse last year.
